WhatsApp, Most popular and messaging app owned by tech giant Facebook added new feature in to its recent update to give users more control on their privacy.
Now you can control who can add you to any WhatsApp group chat, you may change your privacy setting which suits you.

How to set Control group chat?
Open whatsapp and click on three vertical dots located on top right corner. tab to settings, Account> Privacy> and choose your favorite option (No body, My contacts or Everyone).
“The ‘Nobody’ option means you’ll have to approve joining every group to which you’re invited and ‘My Contacts’ means only users you have in your address book can add you to groups,” the company said in recent blog.

For users who choose the above settings, the person inviting them to a group would be prompted to send a private invite through an individual chat, giving users the choice of joining the group or ignore.
Please remember, People would have 3-days to accept the group invitation or else it will be expired. “Everyone” option is open to add you in any group without permission.
